My childhood was deeply rooted in religion, attending church every Sunday and engaging in daily Bible readings. As I grew older, I began to wrestle with questions about religion, seeking a way to express my evolving thoughts and emotions through photography.
I revisited my hometown and the church from my childhood. Armed with my camera, I captured moments that held personal significance to me. Afterward, I started experimenting with my developed photographs and nail polish remover. This unique process yielded captivating effects, imbuing my images with a sense of ambiguity and blurriness, mirroring the complexity of the questions and feelings I had about religion.
